Aichi D3A1 model 22 Val . This plane flew from the Japanese carrier Shokaku during the Battle of Sante Cruz, Oct. 1942.

The is the first version of the D3A1 Val which was used during the first 2 years of WWII.

I developed the model from the old PAW1942 Val 3DZ wireframe and the skin was painted by myself. It features the more correct grey-green camouflage color.

Intended for use with Charles Gunst's ECAPanel. To use, place the files into your EAW folder and select the Val flight model in the JU-87 slot in the ECAPanel.

The .PCX files for this aircraft are included if you'd like to try your hand at adding your own markings.

Have fun,
